Which Is The Right Age To Use Best Potty Training Techniques For Girls? What Is Early Potty Training?

Every parent wants to know the right time that the child must start potty training. What is the best method for this process, using early potty training or waiting until our kid to be ready for this step?

Discussions about this are numerous. Some studies approve starting potty training at a young child, even though the child is not yet able to fully understand this process.

Furthermore, early potty training or “natural baby hygiene” is about introducing the baby to the toilet, from the first quarterly of the baby’s life.

Infant potty training is practiced massively at the early age of children, in many countries, located in Africa, Asia or, Eastern Europe (the latter more during, the former communist-era). So, In these countries, early potty training has been used for cultural and economic reasons.

Moreover, they consider it not healthy to use diapers for their children. It is not healthy, too. Cloth diapers are used massively in these places. Furthermore, every child has their developmental stages, just as our child naturally learns to sit, stand up, talk, the same way will come the right time for beginning potty training.

Psychologists or doctors claim that children feel safe and ready for this phase at about 18 months old.
The best time for potty training consider the age of 2 years old. It is more difficult with a child of age 3. It is easier to train a child at the age of 2 years old because he has more ability to develop potty habits.

My Best Potty-Training Techniques For Girls

I’m going to break down some of the potty training techniques, that I have started to use with my daughter.

1. I have introduced my daughter to the potty after she was 18 months and, she has given me the first signals about it.

2. I help her learn about it. We watch together, baby potty training videos and songs to show her how other kids are doing in this process.

3. To buy the right potty equipment and help her to be familiar and comfortable with it. I bought her a pink potty chair months ago. At first, I instructed her to sit there with clothes to get the reflexes. I’m going to buy a potty seat with a ladder. In that way, she will feel like an adult and gain security in the process.

4. To talk to her about it, illustrating myself when I need to go to the toilet for my needs

5. To use her abilities to imitate me in achieving positive results with potty training. I’m her mother and, my baby should learn from me. I’m going to motivate her to wear cute girls’ underwear.

6. To implement a potty training schedule. I have prepared a training schedule that I will monitor and update on my child’s performance.

7. To introduce the toilet paper to her, and, to learn my daughter, how to wipe herself after she pees.

8. To let her naked for some time during the day. In this way, she will learn there is no need for a diaper anymore.

9. To have a fun time during the training. We read and play together with potty training games.

10. To be patient with her and encourage her to try again if she fails

11. To motivate her with a trophy or award after the positive result.

12. To start training for the night as well, eliminating fluids at least one hour before bedtime and using the potty before bedtime and at night if the baby wakes up on their own.

13. To eliminate the diaper after successful training.

Despite all the above, I will not force my daughter, but I patiently will take the time to get through each step with her. I have better results when she first understands what is next step is and, then I move on with the training program.

Every child has their character and personality, some more difficult than others, we have to love our children as they are, without trying to impose them, to achieve our parents’ goals.
